A persona shapes your very first Zone and the Areas, Boxes, tags, and Custom Fields you begin with. It is a mobile first-run experience for the person who sets up the inventory, reached when you start a fresh inventory rather than one that already holds entries.
You choose from a set of personas, with a catch-all option for anything that doesn’t fit neatly. Everspruce loads the current set of personas and their content when you begin, so the exact options can change over time. Because of that, treat the examples below as illustrations of what the app can tailor to, not a fixed menu.
Ways to Use Onboarding Personas in Your Home Inventory

This is meant to be a one-time first experience: after you complete it, Everspruce won’t automatically show you the wizard again on that device, and if you already have entries in Everspruce, it won’t try to walk you through the wizard automatically either. Once your first setup is done, it stays out of your way.
Changing Your Mind Later: Show Intro Tutorial
If you want to revisit your original setup choice, or you picked a path and later realize a different one fits better, Everspruce lets you replay the onboarding wizard from Settings

2. Tap Settings.
3. Scroll down and tap Show Intro Tutorial.
4. Confirm that you want to replay the setup wizard when prompted.
You’ll see a confirmation message letting you know that replaying the wizard will not delete any of your existing entries. Once you confirm, you’ll land back on the “What are you organizing?” picker, so you’re free to choose the same path again or try a different one.

Invited members see a shorter, fixed introduction instead of the full picker, since the persona choice belongs to whoever first set up the shared space.
What Happens Next: Managing Your Onboarding Setup

Based on your persona and your answers, it can name your Zone, add Areas, create tags, and add Custom Fields, and for some setups it can create a starter Area and Box. If you chose Other and typed a name, that name personalizes your setup. The first run needs an internet connection to finish.
The setup runs once. After you complete or skip it, it won’t appear again automatically on later launches, and Everspruce won’t show it to an inventory that already has entries in it.
You can return to it anytime. Open Settings, then tap Show Intro Tutorial. Everspruce confirms with “This will replay the setup wizard from the beginning. Your existing entries won’t be deleted.” The replay takes you back to the persona picker, so you can choose the same persona or try a different one, and it won’t delete anything you’ve already added.
